Steering Wheel Adapter Hub

The shallowest steering wheel adapter system in the market that is designed specifically for the HMMWV®/HUMVEE® platform taking into consideration the inherited agronomical challenges in the driver’s interior space!

Benefits of the American Machine Steering Wheel Adapter System:

• Designed specifically to fit perfectly on the Humvee’s steering wheel column.
• Maintains the turn signal canceling function of your turn signal switch through the optional/removable signal canceling knobs on the steering wheel adapter (like with the OEM turn signal canceling ring (or ANY turn signal canceling knobs solution), your turn signal switch module needs be clean from sand and in perfect condition!).
• Adds around ¾”-1” to the driver arm space (may be affected by your choice of steering wheel) by pulling the steering wheel towards the dash and not pushing it into your chest!
• Fits both 6 bot (12/6) pattern (momo, NRD . . . ) AND 5 bolt pattern (Grant) steering wheels! This opens up a vast number of aftermarket steering wheel choices.
• Built-in/pre-wired horn so you can simply plug and play!

Installation requirements and recommendations:

• The signal canceling function is designed to be used with the self-canceling turn signal switch module that is shown in the pictures. 
• Like with the OEM turn signal canceling ring; in order to maintain the signal canceling function, it is important that your turn signal switch is clean from sand and in perfect condition!
• Deep dish steering wheels are not recommended! It defies the whole purpose of using our shallow steering wheel adapter which is designed to give the driver more arm space.
• Not recommended with steering wheels that has a multi-layer center spoke plate.
