Shipping policy

Order processing times:

We do our best to process orders within 2-3 business days for in-stock items that are shipping from one location.

Orders that contain more than one “in-stock” item that will be shipped from more than one location may take up to 5 business days to be processed.

Orders that consist of both “In-Stock” items in addition to “pre-order” items (or “built to orders” items with longer lead time) may be shipped separately to get you your order as soon as possible.

In the event that your item becomes “out of stock” after you have placed your order for an “In-Stock” item, for reasons out of our control, like for example, we find that the item is damaged, defected or in any other unacceptable condition to be shipped to you; we will contact you and inform you immediately. You may be able to either cancel the order and we will issue you a full refund, or you can choose to wait for the new inventory, so you won’t lose your spot in the case of a high demand item that sells out quickly. 

Built to Order Items, and items with lead time:

Some items may have a lead time that could vary from around 2 weeks, up to around 12 weeks or even more, due to its size, availability, or in most cases, all the above plus being a very high demand item that keeps selling out immediately and almost before we even restock it. In this case, the lead time will be displayed on every item's page and will be constantly updated to reflect any changes to the expected lead time for the item.

Also, please note that the requirement of a lead time (other than “Built to Order”) on some items, may happen for reasons out of our control. While we do our best to keep you updated with the status of your order(s), some changes might unexpectedly happen very quickly. Therefore, even if we specify that an item will need “X” number of weeks before it can be shipped to you; it might take a little longer, or in some cases, much less. However, rest assured that we will do our best to get your order fulfilled as soon as possible.

Pre-Orders:

For high demand items that sell out fast, we may provide the option to Pre-Order this item if you want to reserve your item when we receive it/build it. In this case, an availability date estimate will be listed on the item's page. However, while we will do our best to keep you updated with the status of your order, this availability estimate is subject to change without notice.

Shipping times and cost:

Since we deal with items that varies in sizes/weight from, very small and light washers, to relatively large and heavy metal bumpers, doors, and tops; shipping time and cost will be calculated at checkout according to your chosen shipping method/carrier from the available options that changes according to your items and shipping destination.

Carrier estimated delivery time:

Shipping time and cost are estimated automatically by the linked carriers at checkout and NOT by American Machine.

While we may be in control of the processing time once the item is available, we are not in control of the carrier estimated delivery announced under the shipping method options at checkout.

Local pick up:

To save our customers some money on shipping, some large/heavy items may qualify for local pick up depending on the availability/location of this item, and the address of the buyer. When the qualified item is available and ready for pick up, the customer will immediately be informed and provided with a pick-up location, date, and time window.

The local pick-up option will be constantly updated depending on the availability and the location of the item. Some items may temporarily qualify for local pick up at temporary events which will be announced either on the website or email and social media. 

Local Delivery:

To save our customers some money on shipping, some items may qualify for local delivery at a very low cost. The local delivery option will automatically pop up among the shipping methods at checkout depending on the availability/location of the qualified item(s), and the address of the customer. When the qualified item is available and ready for local delivery, the customer will immediately be informed and provided with a delivery date, and time.

Since the local delivery service is NOT carried by a shipping courier, a nearby meeting location to the buyer’s address may be decided and provided. The buyer will have to be present and sign a delivery slip before receiving the order.

Free shipping:

Unfortunately, we don't currently offer free shipping.
