Refund policy

We have a 14-day return policy on some eligible items, which means you have 14 days after receiving your return-eligible-item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be new, unopened, and in the same condition that you received it, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Every item will have a type displayed on its page, either “Off-the-Shelf Item”, or “Built-to-Order Item”, which determines what section of the refund policy applies to it.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package.

Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages, Defects, and Other Issues:
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Damaged, defective, and wrong orders will be replaced by us (either fully or partially) without any additional cost.

The refusal of a replacement of a damaged, defective, or wrong item is considered a “return” and will be subject to restocking/cancellation fees. Unless determined otherwise upon the evaluation of the issue.

Please note that, items in unfinished raw material form, like raw aluminum, steel, stainless steel, plastic, fiberglass … etc., may still contain residues of lubricants, adhesives, grinder marks or minor scratches … etc. from the manufacturing process. The presence of such residues and scratches are not considered defects.

Also, items in unfinished raw material form, like raw aluminum, steel, stainless steel, plastic, fiberglass … etc., may still contain some rough edges from laser cutting, router cutting, milling, or mold flashing … etc. The presence of rough edges is not considered defects.

 

Exceptions / non-returnable items:
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like “Built to Order” “Special Orders” or Customized/Personalized items. We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, silicone tubes, and adhesives ... etc. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or expedite orders.



Exchanges:
The fastest and safest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds:
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return and issued your refund, please contact us at info@americanmachine-innovations.com so we can double check our side of the process. If you still did not get your refund after we have reconfirmed that we did our part of the refund process, please contact your back and credit card company for more information.

Restock Fees:
All returned items are subject to a 15% restock fees.

Refund on Canceled Orders with “Off-the-Shelf” items:
A full refund will be issues if the cancelation happened before the order was shipped.

Refunds on Canceled Orders with “Built-to-Order” Items:

The cancelling of a Built-to-Order item is subject to a 30% Cancellation fee.

Return Shipping cost:
Unless the return was due to damage, defect or incorrect item sent; the customer will have to pay the shipping cost of the returned item.
